| - Kidding Around Childcare is a licensed group child care centre in Powell River, BC. We can provide care for up to 8 children, ages 30 months to school age, per day - We are creative, engaging and fun - Kidding Around Childcare is looking for a qualified Early Childhood Educator - We are looking for a reliable individual who is caring and compationate. We are seeking a passionate professional who is able to create an environment that promotes self-confidence and social emotional growth - ECE Certificate is required or must be a valid ECE Assistant working towards their ECE Certificate - Wages are negotiable and competitive - ECE Certificate - First Aid |
Duties and Responsibilities |
| Our work environment includes: - Relaxed atmosphere - Casual work attire - Safe work environment Responsibilities: - Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children - Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs and taking children to local points of interest - provide opportunities to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music and physical activity - Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits - Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioural problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians or supervisor - Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children - Salary: Up to $5,000.00 per month based on experience - Plus an additional $4.00 per hour for a qualified ECE Benefits: - Paid time off - Relocation assistance Flexible Language Requirement: - French not required Schedule: - Day shift - Monday to Friday Supplemental pay types: - Bonus pay |
