- WCB Approved Workplace First Aid Level 1, or willingness to acquire
- Proven ability to take directions and work independently
- Excellent interpersonal behaviour and communication skills including working on a team
- Demonstrated ability to work with suppliers, parts manufacturers and ticketed contractors
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot problems on machines such as an automated saw
- Manual dexterity and ability to do hard physical work
- Good organization, time and general management skills
- Proven ability to assist in emergencies
- Knowledge of theory, principles and practices of the community living sector an asset but not a requirement
- Experience in a start-up and/or social enterprise environment also an asset

Duties and Responsibilities

This is a dynamic position requiring creative problem solving, collaboration and ingenuity. The job is flexible to meet your needs for work-life balance.

The Production Manager is responsible for maintaining a safe working environment for a team of project participants and three management staff. This position is responsible for ensuring that production runs smoothly including coordination and collection of recycled materials for Kindred Service, as well as processing of recycled materials and oversight of hand assembly. The Production Manager is responsible for maintenance and upkeep of tools and machines including an automated saw. The Production Manager fulfils orders to both retail and online customers.
