- Must successfully complete a challenging training course in Cornwall Ontario during the month of June. All expenses paid plus honorarium. Must be available to fly on May 30th. Return 4 1/2 weeks later.
Duties and Responsibilities
|Weather Offices provide aviation weather services at airports across southern Canada. Equipped with meteorological instruments for monitoring, recording and transmitting aviation surface weather, certified weather observers provide the bulk of weather information for distribution across the country.|
Working with 2 other observers you will assist operating the aviation weather observing program at the Powell River airport. This work is well suited for a responsible semi-retired person or someone needing a permanent 3 or possibly 4 day a week job.
