  • The facilitator will help you use the Personality Dimensions system to discover your personality style and find out what kinds of work you might be suited to.

    Computer Basics

  • A twelve-hour course (spread over six lessons) for beginners and near beginners. Takes you from no experience with computers to being comfortable to sit at any computer and type up a document, format it, save it, and then retrieve it. At completion, you will be qualified to add "Basic Word Processing Skills" to your resume and be able to type your own cover letters, as well as make adjustment to your resume.

  • Internet

    A 6-hour course (spread over 3 lessons) for beginners. Learn what the Internet is all about and how it can help you. Topics covered include:

    • Entering addresses and manoeuvring about within the site, as well as linking to external sites
    • Searching for information when no web address is available

    E-mailing

  • A 4-hour course (spread over 2 lessons) in which you will obtain a free e-mail address and then learn how to send and receive e-mails, as well as attach files to outgoing mail (great when applying for jobs and an employer requests that resume be e-mailed)
