At Career Link, we're here to help you find a job.

We’re here to help you!
Come on in and see what we have to offer.

  • Transportation help is available to attend Career Link workshops
  • Bus tickets or gas vouchers may be available to enable you to attend a workshop or to meet with an employment counsellor-if you are otherwise unable to access our services. Please speak to an employment counsellor about eligibility for this support.

Career Link offers two, 12-week programs designed to help participants in their job search. Through a combination of workshops, one-on-one counselling, and short certificate programs, participants acquire valuable workplace and job-search skills to help ease their transition into the workforce:

  • Return to Work Employability Program, also known as “Shift Happens,” is designed for people between the ages of 18 and 54 who are not currently accessing other employment or income assistance programs.
  • Targeted Initiative for Older Workers, also known as “New Options,” is for people aged 55 and above who are having difficulty integrating into the workforce.

To enquire about either of these two programs, please call Susan at 604.485.7958.

[In providing these programs, Career Link gratefully acknowledges the financial support of the Province of British Columbia through the Ministry of Economic Development (New Options) as well as the Ministry of Advanced Education and Labour Market Development as provided by the Canada British Columbia Labour Market Agreement (Shift Happens)].
