Requirements

- Driver’s licence required.
- We are seeking for an energetic and fun loving female caregiver to join our non profit micro-board organization to support a young female client
- You will be part of a team who is dedicated to ensure the safety, well being and quality of life of the client
- This position offers an 18 hours shift (from 3:00 pm to 9:00 am following day), for four days on and 4 days off
- If needed, we can also offer a separate suite in the home to rent during the period of your contract
- Criminal record certificate
- Class 5 driving license
- National Safety Code Abstract (ICBC driving record search)
- First Aid Certificate/Training English Language proficiency
- Experience as a caregiver for special needs young adults is helpful but not essential

Duties and Responsibilities

- Personal: bathing, administrating medication when required
- Meals: nutritious meal planning and meal preparation, grocery shopping as needed
- Housekeeping: keep house and client's equipment in a tidy manner as outlined in the housekeeping check list
- Recreation: if applicable, assist and participate with the client
- Administration: maintain appropriate written records like communication sheets, medical records, expense records
